Fathers Day

Well, my parents wanted to take the kids back to Virgina for the rest of the summer, so it was just the two of us for Father's Day. We figured out how to entertain ourselves though. We spent the day leisurely golfing it away, it was a great day.

We were so sad though, luckily we still had each other.

The course and the day were beautiful.

I can't remember if we were still missing the kids by this hole....

but I don't think so.

We marked our balls so we could find them easily. Dave marked my balls for good luck. I marked his with special rewards, redeemable IF he got a hole in one.

One of the many houses I hit on the golf course, this family came out on the porch and gave us the stink-eye, but seriously, if you build your house on a golf course.........deal.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY.

The Reason Emma Wishes She Was Born A Boy

Emma has been lamenting the day she was born a girl, ever since the announcement for this years Father/Son Camp out. I tried to excite her with a Girl Power Party, but she wanted to fish and play in the dirt, not get pampered and shop with her Mutha. I didn't take it personal, and we ended up having fun anyway.

Da Boyz, had a great time with their Dad.

This picture, perfectly sums up Dyl. I love it!

Good Night!

Bug. Dyl-Pill. DylarDollar. Pill. BabyDyl.

He turns 7 today, and he is just an incredible boy. Very creative, VERY funny, incredibly smart and so fun to be around. We all love him so very much. He is such a sweetheart!
Birthday Spankings, of course.

Presents....

And lots of hugs. He is a fantastic big brother.

And a phenomenal little brother. These two would be lost without each other.

This Is Why We Had Children

I got this picture as a text message from Dave today with the following caption, to remind me of all our blessings.
"Now I remember why we had children."
